Shopping

We are doing a unit in Weaver on money, stewardship, and wars. It's good because it goes right along with math and counting money. Some of the books we read are "One Cent,Two Cent,Old Cent, New Cent." By Bonnie Worth it is like the cat in the hat, which my boys love "Cat in The Hat."
Also "The Go-Around Dollar" by Barbara Johnston Adams, also the "The Boxcar Children" by Gertrude Chandler Warner. As an activity we have been looking at money, and we set up a store for them to go shopping. Some of the bible verses used in this unit are: Gen 14:18-20 Abram pays tithes to Melchizedek, Gen 14- Abram goes to war with Chedorlaomer, Acts 5:1-11 about Ananias and Sapphira.
